Sarah’s yoga journey began in 2009 at a studio in Austin, TX where she was working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. This is when yoga became an outlet for her to relieve stress. When she moved to The Shoals area in 2015 with her husband, Andy, and pup, Gator, she was introduced to Grit Fitness. She was able to pour more energy into her yoga practice which led to her 200 Hour RYT Yoga Certification. 

Sarah believes connecting with breath and movement is life changing. In her own experience and struggles with anxiety and depression, she has found her practice to be personally transformative. Her empathetic approach to leading and living is what creates a space for healthy risk, self love and acceptance in her classes.  She brings a fiery energy that will leave you feeling empowered and confident, no matter where you are in your yoga practice! 

Sarah's favorite styles of Yoga are Vinyasa and Power.
