Kate is a strength coach at Grit. She graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Fitness, Conditioning, and Performance and have been teaching group fitness and personal training for the last 7 years. Her experience has afforded her the opportunity to work with athletes and non athletes alike from all stages and all walks of life. Kate is passionate about teaching others how to move their bodies well. In Kate's classes, you can expect to feel comfortable and welcomed at any fitness level.
Outside of Grit, Kate and her husband have two Goldendoodles, Joey and Brenda. She loves to travel and try new things: currently she is working to obtain her private pilot’s license. In addition to loving Grit, she loves the Shoals. You could never convince her of a better burger than Odette’s or anything more fun than spending a Saturday on the Tennessee River.
